About my design journey

Blessed with life's opportunities, I continue to enjoy my dream as a Design Architect, Interior Designer, Project Manager, Graphic Designer. Funny how God leads.  My favorite subjects from the Preparatory level were P.E., Art and English, in that order, and still remains today.  This passion for design was energized in my first job as the Sales and Creative Manager for a Printery in Jamaica where I was surrounded with the joy of fulfilling clients' needs and dreams (think wedding, anniversary, party and celebration of life menagerie) while allowed to arrange and play with colors, fonts and materials, this passion culminating in just a year with the opportunity for study in my dream field of Architecture.  training and working as an Architect in both Jamaica and the US, under the guidance of incredibly talented architects before striking out on my own. My favorite learning experience and suggestion to fellow Architects will always be " SITE VISITS", the knowledge gained and subsequent application is GOLD, saving time, money and creating joint learning opportunities, cohesion and mutual respect.

 

Over 25 years in the field has facilitated expertise in Masonry Block/CMU, ICF, Precast and Prefabricated panel and frame construction, with projects in almost all genre , small to large scale, developed from feasibility to concept to design to permitting and contract management.
